Lucy Bergamini in her Studio

Lucy Bergamini, glass master, was immersed in Asian culture as a child, spending much of her childhood in the the Orient. Appreciation for Asian culture is a living tradition in her family, through traveling, visiting museums, and immersion in art, which all greatly influenced her work. Lucy studied at California College of Arts, and with Italian glass masters. She is passionate about glass as science, and is strongly influenced by natural forms, the human body, cell imagery and DNA. Lucy is known for her brilliant colors, is one of the most respected glass artists in the USA, and has participated in many one-woman shows throughout the world. Her work is in major collections, including the Smithsonian Museum permanent collection. Lucy lives and works on her farm in Vermont. Please note Lucy makes your custom sculpture to order.
